Job Title- API Developer
Location: Baltimore, Maryland (Hybrid)
Role Overview
Client is seeking a skilled professional to design, architect, implement, and support cloud-based, Salesforce, and big data solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams and customers to deliver scalable and efficient technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, implement, and support front-end, back-end, and data-conversion solutions.
- Provide technical design and implementation of cloud-based and Salesforce solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and backend applications.
- Define and maintain current-state architecture blueprints.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and products for business applicability.
- Compare solution options and recommend the best fit for business needs.
- Ensure development activities are aligned with standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams and customers to support big data solutions.
Required Technical Skills
- Experience with cloud-based and Salesforce solutions.
- Knowledge of Internet protocols and web-based technologies.
- Experience with technologies such as HTML, CGI applications, PERL, JavaScript, and Java.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and infrastructure development.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Master''s degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in areas such as system analysis, system programming, application programming, and/or equipment analysis.
- At least 1 year of experience developing applications using advanced web-based technologies.
