Job Summary
We are seeking a Woodworker either apprentice or experienced to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in learning in various woodworking skills. This role involves custom wood windows and doors production, wood processing, cutting, laminating, milling, potential machine operating, delivering and installing wood windows and doors to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Woodworker will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to diverse projects ranging from residential renovations to commercial builds.
Duties
- Assist in wood windows and doors manufacture process, from raw material processing, wood cutting, laminating, to sanding, painting, finishing as a complete product .
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various woodworking tasks.
- Engage in fabrication processes including windows and doors installation, repair and maintenance.
- Drive to customer's jobsite, speak with customer to understand the needs, take measurements and provide an estimate.
- Conduct heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all tools are properly stored after use.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills or experiences:
- For apprentice, candidate should have strong interest in woodworking industry and desire to learn all the relevant skills.
- For experienced, candidate should have hands-on experience with basic woodworking techniques and able to use basic tools.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
