What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wound Care Nurse (every other weekend) position at Cypress Skilled Nursing?
Haralson Nursing and Rehab is currently seeking a Wound Care Nurse RN/LPN for every other weekend. As part of the Wound Care Team, the wound care nurse participates in assessing and evaluating the clinical needs of resident with wounds, and works with the resident and the rest of the care team in planning and implementing care that addresses the needs. This work is carried out in support of the mission of Haralson Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive wound consultations including; detailed wound assessments and recommendations for interventions and care planning.
Conduct wound assessments for resident and complete all associated documentation, tracking and care planning activities.
Ongoing monitoring of all assigned resident with wounds.
Assess resident/caregivers knowledge of wound prevention and treatment. Provide resident/ caregiver with wound prevention / treatment education as needed.
Seeking an individual with 1 year wound care experience. The Hiring Team looks forward to hearing from you!
