Duties
- Deliver food promptly from the kitchen to banquet halls or dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed to support kitchen staff during busy service times
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing dishes and resetting tables for new guests or event sessions
- Support banquet service by setting up tables, arranging utensils, glassware, and linens to meet event specifications
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and billing when required
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and event coordinators to coordinate timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, ensuring food safety standards are upheld at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in food service, restaurant, or banquet environments with a strong understanding of guest needs
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations to ensure hygiene standards are maintained
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, including cooking or food preparation skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly, energetic attitude that enhances guest experiences
- Experience with bussing, food delivery, and supporting catering or hotel banquet functions is highly desirable
