Duties
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
- Provide basic life support as needed and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Assist with phlebotomy procedures under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Document patient care activities accurately in medical records using appropriate medical terminology.
- Support nursing staff with patient mobility and transportation within the facility.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding patient needs and conditions.
Requirements
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
- Experience in critical care or inpatient settings is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques and infectious disease care protocols.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to understand clinical documentation.
- Proficiency in measuring vital signs accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
