We are seeking an Experienced Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting small engines and equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform repairs on a variety of small engines and equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, trimmers, and other outdoor power tools.
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment operates reliably and efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine-related issues using appropriate diagnostic tools. (Possible)
- Repair electrical components and perform electrical diagnostics to resolve wiring or component failures. (Possible)
- Carry out engine repairs, including rebuilding or replacing parts as necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, maintenance performed, and parts used.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to ensure safety for all team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or similar role with a strong understanding of small engine systems.
- Skilled in equipment repair, maintenance, engine repair, electrical work, welding and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of electrical diagnostics and ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and hand tools effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or technical training in small engine repair is preferred but not mandatory.
- Having your own tools is preferred but not necessary
