Cypress In-Line Inspection, LLC (“Cypress”) is a young technology company providing in-line pipeline inspection (“ILI”) services to the municipal water and energy industries. We have a very talented team of industry veterans including mechanical, electrical, software, signal processing engineers that work closely with our field technicians. Our ultra-high resolution (“UHR”) fifth generation (“5G”) EcoVision™ ILI tools offer best in class Magnetic Flux Leakage (“MFL”) ILI technology. Customers include some of the most prestigious municipal water authorities and energy pipeline companies in the world including but not limited to the City of Denver, City of San Francisco, Jordan Valley, North Jersey Water Supply Commission, Washington County Water, City of Denver; and energy companies like Bridger, Chevron, Crescent Midstream, Dominion/Enbridge, DCP Midstream, Energy Transfer Partners, Marathon, Phillips 66, Targa Midstream, Lower Valley Energy, United States Air Force, Williams Companies, etc. Our proprietary EcoView™ data analysis software allows our data analyst to analyze the ILI tool data to provide our customers with high quality information on the condition of their pipeline to assist them with protecting people, property, and the environment. Our fleet of EcoVision™ ILI tools tools range from 6” to 24” in diameter for energy, and our water ILI tools can inspect pipelines ranging from 52” up to 120” in diameter.
Overview
We are seeking a smart hard-working professional with knowledge and experience in the Municipal Water Industry that takes pride in their work, pays attention to details and procedures, is mechanically inclined, and has an interest in professional growth. This position requires some travel in the United States, and occasionally internationally.
Required Skills & Key Responsibilities
- Min. of ten years of experience in the municipal water industry dealing with pipeline integrity, maintenance, etc.
- Min. of undergraduate degree. Engineering is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and business development skills to aggressively sell our ILI services to municipal water authorities.
- Customer Centric: Delivers exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers
- Precision Mindset: Performs quality checks and maintains documentation to effectively fulfill project requirements
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to build project budgets and timelines
- USA Citizen
- Ability to read blueprints and as built plans on pipelines to determine inspection feasibility.
- Mechanically inclined
- Problem Solving: Methodically, breaks down issues, seeking solutions and further data if necessary
- Detail orientated with ability to carefully follow instructions, assembly instructions, and procedures.
- Engagement: Good listening skills, team player, cooperative, communicates with honesty and respect...self-motivated and self-directed
- Innovation: Capability to provide input and suggestions for process and procedural improvements
- Travel – Ability to travel in both the United States and Internationally when required.
- Valid Driver's License, and USA passport.
- Clean driving record with no accidents in last three years and automobile insurance on your personal vehicle.
- Become familiar with Cypress equipment, including cleaning, building, equipment, QA/QC policies, Health Safety Environmental (“HSE”) standards, and maintenance procedures ensuring quality and proper operation of ILI tools.
- Lead and train technicians on Cypress technology and how to safely perform ILI inspections for customers.
- Assist in the preparation, launching and receiving of ILI systems and associated support equipment.
- Train employees to properly assemble, clean, refurbish and disassemble equipment after project completion.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvement in the work environment.
- Ability to work independently or with a team in accordance with project scope.
- Ability to apply and practice knowledge from informal/formal training, classroom, and on the job training (“OJT”).
- Promote Environmental, Health & Safety and follow safe working practices at all times.
