Cypress HCM is a leading contract manufacturer and injection molding company seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join their team in Minnesota. This role will require working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality products are delivered to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead quality assurance initiatives to meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations.
- Develop and implement quality plans, processes, and procedures to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the metrology team to schedule and conduct product first article inspections, capability studies, and gage R&Rs.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues and defects for new products.
- Drive the development of inspection plans, fixtures, and methods to achieve quality requirements and standards.
- Work closely with sustaining engineers to resolve production issues and improve product quality.
- Perform internal audits and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to resolve gaps in equipment, resources, and technology.
