Responsibilities
- Develop and implement design strategies to meet business objectives.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to ensure timely project execution.
- Manage and maintain accurate records and reports on project progress and technical details.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory requirements, including FDA QSR and ISO 13485.
- Collaborate with junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in medical device design and development, with expertise in design for catheters and extrusions.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD and knowledge of relevant regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to bring products from concept to market.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
