Responsibilities
- Set the product direction: Shape and deliver the analytics and dashboard roadmap, turning complex construction data into clear, useful insights.
- Be the construction expert: Represent the voice of the field and project teams, making sure our analytics solve real-world construction challenges.
- Talk to customers: Work directly with general contractors, schedulers, and project teams to understand how they use data and where they struggle.
- Define requirements: Turn construction workflows and reporting needs into clear product requirements and user stories for engineering.
- Work cross-functionally: Partner closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality features, providing context on industry standards and best practices.
- Analyze data: Use internal and customer data to spot trends, validate decisions, and measure feature adoption and impact.
- Support go-to-market: Help sales and customer success teams tell the analytics story, build strong demos, and onboard customers.
- Grow as a PM: Learn product management best practices while bringing deep construction knowledge to the team.
- Construction background: 5 years in the construction industry, focused on data, reporting, analytics, or BI for project teams.
- Scheduling expertise: Strong understanding of construction scheduling and CPM (Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar).
- Data experience: Hands-on experience creating reports, dashboards, or analytics for construction stakeholders.
- Process improvement mindset: Experience improving workflows, rolling out software tools, or driving data-driven decisions.
- Technical comfort: Comfortable learning new software and understanding how data moves through construction tech systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills: Able to break down problems, gather requirements, and propose practical solutions.
- Clear communicator: Able to translate technical ideas for field teams and construction concepts for engineers.
- Collaborative approach: Comfortable working with everyone from field teams to executives.
- Growth-oriented: Excited to learn product management, software development processes, and SaaS business models.
- Nice to have: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools; familiarity with construction ERPs like Procore or Autodesk Construction Cloud; or prior exposure to product management or software development.
Salary : $150,000 - $160,000
