Sales Representative

Love Craft Beer and Like Sales?

Cypress and Grove Brewing Company is looking for a Lead Sales Representative. This position will concentrate on representing our brand in key markets within the Gainesville and St. Augustine Region. The ideal candidate will be in Gainesville and be able travel to the St. Augustine area. This role will provide our brewery a direct connection to our retailers and customers. Major objectives are to increase sales, improve market share, increase distribution, and maintain account relationship.

What You Will Do

• Call on existing account base within market to obtain new distribution, execute promotional activity and increase market share

• Solicit new business to increase volume/distribution/share within the assigned market

• Identify retail opportunities and sell/execute against those opportunities

• Ensure proper merchandising of product and service accounts rotate stock, check code dates, packaging repair/replacement, etc.

• Identify field quality concerns and report using appropriate procedures

• Coordinate events and promotions to deliver greater brand awareness and stimulate sales

• Conduct staff educations, beer tastings and other events as needed

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing required or any combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved

• 2 years business to business sales experience required

• Previous sales experience in the alcohol beverage industry preferred

• In-depth knowledge of craft beer styles and trends

• Ability to gain an in-depth knowledge of state and federal liquor laws required

• Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve company business plan goals, including volume, distribution, and profitability

• Strong organization and time management skills

• Ability to interface with various levels of management at both retail and wholesale

• Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and presentation skills

• Excellent sales skills

• Self-motivated and ability to work with limited amount of direction; ability to work both independently and within a team to accomplish goals

• Driver's License free of any major moving violations in the last three years upon hire required

Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying

• You must be at least 21 years of age to work for Cypress & Grove Brewing Co.

• Selected candidate must pass a pre-employment, post offer background check and driver's license check
