Key Responsibilities
Support Leadership: Assist the DON and ADON in overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring adherence to facility policies and state regulations.
Staff Oversight: Mentor and guide nursing personnel to uphold job standards, professional conduct, and best practices.
Regulatory Compliance: Take part in and facilitate government and accreditation surveys, ensuring our facility meets or exceeds all requirements.
Quality Rounds: Conduct daily rounds to monitor care delivery, address clinical concerns, and drive continuous improvement.
Conflict Resolution: Investigate and resolve staff complaints and grievances with professionalism and discretion, escalating to the Director of Nursing Services as needed.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing school
Active RN license in New York State
Current CPR certification
2 years of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or a related clinical setting
Exceptional clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities
Strong communicator who thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment
