Manager, Device Imaging & Integration

Primary Purpose

Serve as the strategic lead and manager for the Device Imaging and Integration Team. This role provides leadership in the planning, configuration, deployment, integration, and management of Cypress-Fairbanks ISD end-point devices, operating systems, management systems, and applications.

Qualifications

Education/Degree(s):

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized, acceditied college or university, required
  
  

Professional Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Team Management experience
• 8 years experience in supporting computer hardware and preferred peripherals
• Experience in successful Project Management
• Experience leading teams in a technology environment preferred
• Expert Level Experience with Ivanti Endpoint Manager, Intune, VMWare, Google Admin Console, and Cybersecurity preferred.
  
  

Certifications

• Project Management Certification preferred
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate preferred
• Ivanti or Google Admin Certification preferred

$92,313 (TA-8)

Major Responsibilities And Duties

Strategic Leadership & Team Development

• Manage the day-to-day operations and personnel of the Device Imaging and Integration Team, ensuring alignment with District goals.
• Manage and motivate a team with diverse skills and backgrounds to foster a high-performance culture.
• Evaluates job performance of employees to ensure effectiveness and provides coaching for professional growth.
• Develop processes and procedures that will create innovation for the DII Team to increase efficiency.
• Interface with cross-functional team members to facilitate installation of necessary software.
  
  

Operational Oversight & Technical Management

• Oversee the preparation of base images and software packages for existing and new equipment distribution.
• Design, recommend, and document plans for delivery of network applications using Ivanti, Intune, Google Admin Console, Workspace One, or other delivery tools.
• Review vulnerabilities and align their reduction through ongoing patching initiatives, ensuring compliance with CFISD’s Cybersecurity processes and protocols.
• Ensure rigorous testing on new device requests to guarantee compatibility with current systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
• Enforce documentation and change management of the design of each image, including versions, software pieces, and special settings.
  
  

Service Delivery & Support

• Maintain a customer-focused approach in configuration and deployment strategies.
• Model and ensure high-level problem determination and resolution in response to district hardware and software application issues.
• Assist with internal support training for Help Desk Analysts, Technology Service Technicians, and other district stakeholders.
• Ensure the team delivers quality client services by monitoring progress and maintaining outstanding customer service standards.
  
  

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, manage, and motivate the Device Imaging and Integration Team.
• Responsible for the appraisal, development, and operational success of the team members.

• Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals.
• Posture/Motion: Prolonged sitting, repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding, and use of mouse.
