Data Management Specialist, Transportation

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to use personal computer and software for field trip scheduling, develop spreadsheets and databases and do word processing.
• Ability to read and understand documents including policies and procedures manuals.
• Ability to receive and give written and verbal instructions.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.
• One (1) year experience in public school transportation preferred.
• Preference will be given to CFISD Employees.

Salary/Paygrade

$36,259 – CP5

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year

Essential Functions

• Import and process all field trip transportation requests using field trip planning software.
• Communicate with sponsors and administrators to confirm field trip requests and arrangements.
• Communicate information regarding emergency trips, caravan and dispatch- assigned trips to the appropriate parties.
• Process all white fleet requests for district cars and vans.
• Establish and maintain a good rapport and working relationships with transportation staff and campus personnel.
• Serve as a substitute bus attendant as necessary.
• Regular and reliable attendance is an essential job function.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
