QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration or related field from an accredited university, or High School diploma and two years of equivalent proven experience in warehouse management in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management System) and MS office.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrate good math skills, be able to work with inventory in a quick and accurate manner.
- Work with Department Procurement team to understand procurement rules in an effort to ensure efficient operations.
- Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
- Physically able to perform assigned duties.
- Preferred valid Texas Drivers License (Class B - CDL) with an acceptable driving record as established by the district.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, and shipping of goods.
- Responsible for maintaining high standards of inventory accuracy, workplace safety, team performance, and operational productivity.
- Establish par levels and reorder points for every item that needs to be stocked. Update par levels and reorder points based on menu needs.
- Initiate all purchase requests to always keep stock items available.
- Participate in meetings as requested, including menu planning meetings, informing others about excess inventory that needs to be used.
- Oversee receipt of all shipments and decide on rejecting orders, if needed, according to procedure in place.
- Ensure proper warehousing and storage of all equipment, supplies, food items, and materials.
- Oversee wall-to-wall physical inventory of warehouses and investigate inventory discrepancies with assistance from warehouse supervisors.
- Monitor workflow and adjust staffing as necessary.
- Work closely with the fleet technician and warehouse supervisors to manage fleet and material handling equipment.
- Assist in developing distribution routes and delivery schedules for drivers.
- Be the liaison between the warehouses and procurement to report orders rejected, shipment complaints, recalls, and any other issues with deliveries.
- Observe and monitor applicable safety procedures within warehouse, receiving, and shipping areas. Report job related accidents and/or injuries to immediate assistant director within 24 hours of the incident.
- Supervise the recycling department.
- Support the Food Service Department with regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Food Service.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:
All food service employees must use good body mechanics and follow safe working procedures including infection control. The employee must report any unsafe condition to a manager or supervisor and demonstrate no on-the-job injuries due to a lack of good safety practices. On-the-job accidents must be reported immediately to the manager or supervisor and an accident report completed.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under stress. Work in non-air-conditioned and sub-zero environments. Be able to lift (up to 100 pounds), walk, stoop, stand, climb ramps, ladders, stairs, and scaffolds. Physically able to operate 4,000-pound fork truck and battery-operated pallet jacks.
