Personal Banker

SUMMARY:

Cypress Bank & Trust was originally founded as a Florida Chartered boutique corporate fiduciary in Palm Beach, FL in 1996and transitioned to a bank and trust company in August 2021. We currently have four full-service offices throughout the state of Florida with additional trust offices in Winter Haven and Naples. In addition to providing trust and investment advisory services, Cypress Bank & Trust offers a complete array of personal and commercial banking services intended to meet all our client’s holistic, financial needs including providing personalized, tailored solutions. We are looking for a Personal Banker who has a comprehensive knowledge of the Bank’s products, services, policies, objectives, and practices. Client service and organizational skills sets are required to help ensure adherence to Cypress Bank & Trust Quality Service Standards and Core Values. This role is also required to be knowledgeable about and regularly perform daily branch functions including client services, teller, vault, and account opening and closing procedures, processing night depository, mail, and courier transactions. This position also assists clients with online banking products including Remote Deposit Capture, wire transfer and ACH origination support. Also is expected to provide training and support to less experienced bankers and other staff. Participates in the referral program in relationship to other lines of businesses within the bank to promote branch deposit and loan growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
• Ensures branch compliance with the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC Program.
• Assures compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
• Complies with the Bank BSA Policy and internal procedures including any related training.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or two years’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer skills required: Microsoft Office; CSI NuPoint Core System and its complementary products.
