Our client, a Global Investment firm based in Naperville Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, is looking for an Investment Operations Manager.
A growing investment platform is seeking an experienced Investment Operations Manager to lead a team supporting derivatives and collateral operations, and strengthen the control environment supporting multi‑asset investment products, including ETFs. This role is ideal for someone who excels in complex operational workflows, risk management, and cross‑functional coordination across trading, technology, and compliance.
Key Focus Areas
- Derivatives knowledge including lifecycle management, underlying exposure events, and exception resolution
- Collateral management across margin calls, substitutions, tri party processes, and optimization across accounts
- Experience supporting SMAs
- Operational controls including risk identification, SOP ownership, audits, and regulatory support
- Team leadership with responsibility for coaching, workload oversight, and performance management
- Process improvement driving automation, scalability, and system enhancements across the operating platform
- Cross functional partnership with Investments, Technology, Compliance, Finance, and Client Service
Ideal Background
- 8 to 10 years of investment operations experience
- Strong expertise in derivatives, collateral workflows, and multi asset operational processes
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and complex operational environments
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with investment systems
The role is 5 days in the Naperville office, and the salary is highly competitive. They will also offer relocation if needed for the right candidate.
