Automotive Worker

CYNWAVE Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Automotive Worker to provide support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This position is responsible for ensuring that the fleet of the CDC remains safe, reliable, and in compliance with federal maintenance standards.

Job Summary:

The Automotive Worker provides support to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and possesses practical experience in servicing light- and medium-duty vehicles. This individual demonstrates exceptional problem-solving abilities and is dedicated to adhering to safety and maintenance protocols within a public health context.  Perform other tasks as assigned.

• 4770 Buford Hwy, Atlanta, Georgia 30341
• Shift: Monday–Friday

Qualifications/Certifications:

• Communicate effectively in English speaking and writing.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record may be required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow technical manuals and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of automotive tools, equipment, and repair techniques.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in automotive maintenance or repair.

Duties:

• Work is performed in a vehicle maintenance shop, with occasional exposure to noise, fumes, grease, and moving mechanical parts.
• May involve lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Must wear Personal protective equipment (PPE) if needed.
