We are seeking a highly organized, exuberant, charismatic, and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Plastic Surgery Practice.
We are recognized for exceptional patient care and pride ourselves in always having our phones answered by a "live" person. We need another friendly, upbeat, smart person to help handle those calls to stay with that tradition! This is a critical role in the practice as this position is a patient's first introduction to our office. The person we hire will have a professional demeanor and appearance, an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service skills, great attention to detail, the ability to remain calm when busy, an understanding that our patients are our most valuable asset, high energy, and extensive experience dealing with the public. The duties of this position include answering phones, scheduling appointments, checking patients in and out, answering patient questions, collecting and processing payments, and other duties as assigned by the personnel manager. Ensuring that every patient encounter is exceptional is the primary duty of this individual. Our ideal candidate will be seeking a career position in a practice where employee growth and support are foremost. We require at least 3 years of experience in a similar role in a medical, or professional setting, a proven track record of customer service expertise, a stable employment history, a desire to work as a team to provide the highest level of patient care, strong computer skills, experience scheduling appointments, a minimum of an AA degree, and a goal of long-term employment in a supportive and positive environment. Salary is commensurate with applicable experience. Prior medical office experience is preferred.
