Job Overview:
- Responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying system gaps, and delivering business and technical solutions for enterprise tolling applications.
- The role involves requirements gathering, Agile business analysis, process modeling, backlog management, testing coordination, and collaboration with stakeholders to support enterprise system initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with project teams and business stakeholders to understand business processes and application needs.
- Identify pain points and develop expertise in customer business applications.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify system gaps and deficiencies.
- Propose effective business, technical, or hybrid solutions.
- Develop process flows, context diagrams, and data flow diagrams for current and future state processes.
- Discover, analyze, and document requirements and user stories.
- Improve business and technical processes through detailed analysis and documentation.
- Decompose requirements into Epics and Features and create actionable user stories.
- Use progressive elaboration techniques to map stories to technical design specifications.
- Support Product Owners in maintaining product backlogs and grouping user stories into Themes.
- Document dependencies and prioritize backlog items.
- Create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups to visualize proposed solutions.
- Propose cost-effective and technically feasible solutions.
- Define test objectives, create test plans and test cases, and execute testing activities.
- Perform regression testing and facilitate User Acceptance Testing with business stakeholders.
- Communicate testing progress and project updates to Project Managers and Scrum Masters.
Requirement/Must Have:
- Advanced understanding of enterprise data management concepts and tools.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering business and systems analysis artifacts.
- 5 years of experience as an Agile Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of Scrum concepts and Agile methodologies.
- Experience organizing and maintaining Product and Sprint backlogs.
- Proficiency translating business strategy into application requirements and user stories.
- Expertise defining acceptance criteria and managing acceptance processes with development teams.
- Experience working with large multi-module enterprise systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, and Project Server.
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of business process management concepts and BPM tools.
- Experience creating business process models.
Should Have:
- Certified Business Analysis Professional certification.
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis certification.
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner certification.
- Experience using Azure DevOps for Agile software development and work item tracking.
