Job Overview:
- The Splunk Engineer DevOps & AWS is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud-based solutions and Splunk environments across cloud and on-premise platforms.
- This role focuses on cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and data analytics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance and secure solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Splunk environments across cloud and on-premise systems.
- Configure, administer, and support Splunk Enterprise and Universal Forwarder components.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and queries while onboarding new data sources.
- Optimize Splunk performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security and compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure proper data parsing, storage, and accessibility.
- Design and implement scalable cloud solutions aligned with business needs.
- Participate in cloud strategy development, architecture design, and solution implementation.
- Work with development and operations teams to deploy and support cloud applications.
- Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into solution designs.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
- Lead proof-of-concept activities and guide technical direction for cloud initiatives.
- Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and scalability.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and support to development teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Skills:
- Strong experience with Splunk administration and monitoring solutions.
- Expertise in AWS cloud architecture and cloud-native technologies.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices including CI/CD and automation.
- Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and cloud security principles.
- Experience with API integration and microservices architecture.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and tools.
- Experience working in Linux environments and system administration.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Should Have:
- AWS certification such as Certified Developer or Solutions Architect.
- Experience with OpenShift and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience in financial services or similar domains.
- Strong experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools.
- Ability to mentor teams and act as a subject matter expert.
Qualification And Education:
- Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in software development, cloud architecture, or DevOps.
