Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Serve as system manager and subject matter expert (SME) for procurement systems, including Coupa.
- Lead and train lines of business (LoB) on procurement systems usage and best practices.
- Create and manage RfX events within Coupa for various departments.
- Support and lead tactical sourcing events and procurement activities.
- Ensure purchasing processes comply with corporate and local guidelines.
- Lead expansion and maintenance of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) programs across sites.
- Qualify suppliers and address supplier issues related to cost, delivery, and quality.
- Monitor and track contract expirations and ensure timely renewals.
- Assist with supplier selection criteria and guide LoB through sourcing processes.
- Partner with stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Act as backup sourcing point of contact for procurement processes and initiatives.
- Support identification and compliance of procurement framework requirements (PfM).
- Monitor training needs and spend compliance related to procurement activities.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Review contracts and manage contract administration within the Coupa repository.
- Ensure adherence to safety and environmental requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- OR Associate s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in planning/purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or sourcing in a manufacturing or related environment.
- Experience with procurement systems such as Coupa or SAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to analyze spend data and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of purchasing procedures and procurement processes.
