Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr
- The Data Governance Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the cataloging of data, assets, and content across the company, while developing actionable frameworks for policy compliance and reporting.
- This role involves planning and executing strategic programs, improving tools and templates, and creating playbooks to drive success.
- The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including security, engineering, and privacy, to ensure alignment and achieve organizational goals.
- Plan and execute strategic data governance programs and initiatives.
- Continuously improve tools, templates, and frameworks to support data compliance and reporting.
- Build detailed project plans, identify dependencies, and remove roadblocks to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as security, engineering, and privacy to achieve program objectives.
- Provide data-driven status reports for stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Identify risks and exposures within the program and propose effective solutions.
- Develop actionable playbooks to streamline program execution and ensure consistency.
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies and standards across teams.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- BS or MS in Information Systems Management or a related technical field.
- Strong customer and partner engagement focus.
- Basic Agile experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings effectively.
- Proven ability to establish credibility and build rapport with key partners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience managing change and driving program execution in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with Data Governance tools such as Collibra or Alation.
- Light coding or development experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps and related applications.
- Effective change management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work hands-on and adapt in a dynamic environment.
