Network Control Contractor

Job Description:Requirement/Must Have:Ability to handle inbound and outbound technical support calls.Experience monitoring alarm conditions and troubleshooting networks.Ability to use software tools to assign and support field technicians.Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.Ability to follow standard procedures and prioritize tasks.Willingness to learn the OSI model.Willingness to participate in team training on IP and TDM technologies.Experience:Minimum 6 years of related experience with a high school diploma.2 years of experience with an associate degree.Experience in a call center or technical support environment.Experience updating and maintaining incident tickets.Experience with geographically dispersed teams.Familiarity with remote access and UNIX systems.Responsibilities:Provide technical support and manage calls.Monitor and analyze network alarm conditions.Identify issues proactively to minimize network disruptions.Assign and support field technicians.Maintain incident tickets and assist technicians in resolving issues.Input data into incident management systems.Follow procedures and adapt to changing priorities.Support emergency evacuation processes when required.Should Have:Strong customer service skills.Ability to remain calm in urgent situations.Interest in learning networking technologies and processes.Skills:Familiarity with OSI Layers 1–3.Knowledge of SONET or TDM.Basic understanding of RF, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and HSRP.Experience analyzing T1/T3 channels and using DACs equipment.Knowledge of Ethernet, IP, ATM, WAN, LAN, SONET, and TDM.Experience with network management tools (Cisco Prime, SNMPc, Orion, NetFlow).Experience with call center phone systems.Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and incident management tools.Qualification and Education:High school diploma with 6 years of experience, or associate degree with 2 years of experience.Certifications such as CCNA, Network , JNCIA, or ITIL v4 (or willingness to pursue).
