Job Description: Pay Range: $28hr - $35hrThe Mechanical Engineering Tech supports product development activities by completing routine technical tasks, collecting and organizing data, executing test protocols, and assisting engineers with various laboratory and technical operations.This role involves hands-on work in a lab environment, including equipment handling, testing, documentation, and supporting prototype development.Responsibilities:Gather, maintain, and manipulate technical data such as test results and engineering design changes.Produce engineering documents, reports, drawings, flow charts, and schematics.Prepare reports and summaries including quantitative analysis.Provide technical support to engineers across various tasks.Assist in equipment scoping and qualification.Support general lab functions including calibration, safety procedures, and routine equipment maintenance.Notify manager or team lead of any factors affecting project progress.Assist with prototype process development and test setup preparation.Execute test protocols and conduct testing.Document and communicate test results clearly.Handle test samples and chemicals used during conditioning and testing.Requirement/Must Have:High school diploma.Minimum 6 years of lab or technician experience in a regulated environment.Experience following written procedures.Ability to work collaboratively with a team.Should Have / Preferred:Bachelor of Science in a technical field with at least 1 year of lab/R&D experience.Ability to understand and perform test procedures.Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.Proficiency in using personal computers.Ability to train lower-level technicians.Skills:Technical data handling.Laboratory operations.Documentation and reporting.Equipment maintenance and calibration.Test execution and analysis.
