Job Description: Pay Range: $30.25hr - $36.30hrThe Manufacturing – Associate Test Engineer will perform system-level build, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies.This role involves maintaining tool schedules, completing alignment processes, supporting test progression, and preparing technical reports.The position requires strong mechanical, electrical, and software skills, along with the ability to work on moderately complex assignments that demand sound judgment and problem-solving abilities.Requirement/Must Have:Experience in testing digital and/or analog systems.Ability to read complex drawings, schematics, and mathematics, and use various testing/measuring instruments.Due to the nature of the job, the candidate should be able to lift 50 pounds with assistance.Strong mechanical, electrical, and software skills.Not focused on PCB or board troubleshooting; requires system-level and opto-assembly experience.Experience:2–4 years of related experience.Experience performing build, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting at the system level.Experience developing or determining test specifications, methods, and procedures.Responsibilities:Maintain tool schedules and complete alignment processes per defined test times.Perform testing and troubleshooting of assemblies and final systems.Support tool progression priorities.Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions.Maintain and manage test tooling, including coordination with third-party calibration services.Perform rework on assemblies or systems as required.Assist in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment.Should Have:Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Skills:Mechanical, electrical, and software proficiency.Familiarity with testing methodologies and instrumentation.Qualification and Education:AA degree, military technical training, or equivalent vocational training preferred.High school diploma with equivalent experience accepted.
