Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Manage and administer IBM z/OS operating systems and mainframe infrastructure.
- Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades of z/OS environments.
- Lead mainframe system sustainment activities including version upgrades and patching.
- Ensure system security, compliance, and data protection using enterprise security protocols.
- Administer and maintain mainframe security tools such as Top Secret (TSS).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and cross-functional teams to resolve complex system issues.
- Support system IPL processes and ensure system availability and stability.
- Maintain and support key mainframe subsystems and tools.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in mainframe system administration.
- Strong expertise in IBM z/OS operating systems and infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience with system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Deep knowledge of mainframe security, compliance, and data protection practices.
- Experience with Top Secret (TSS) or similar security frameworks.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with infrastructure and technical teams.
