Job Overview:
Requirement/Must Have:
- 5 years of experience reviewing, reconciling, and processing invoices and vouchers while ensuring compliance with prompt payment requirements.
- 5 years of experience managing goods and services procurements in a large, multi-dimensional business environment.
- 5 years of extensive experience in the use of computers and software (Microsoft 365) applications, including Excel pivot tables and complex spreadsheets.
- 3 years of knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and applicable state and agency procurement regulations.
- 5 years of customer service experience to broad audiences, including professionals, vendors, team members, and executive staff.
- 5 years of general knowledge of accounting practices and financial management.
- 5 years of Commonwealth of VA Procurement knowledge and applied experience.
- 1 year of experience using the eVA ordering system.
- 1 year of experience with the Cardinal financial system.
- 1 year of experience providing transportation to attend mandatory trainings on site when required.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, monitor expenditures, track payment activity, and support budget management efforts.
- Receive and process payments within the prompt pay guidelines and track and produce analytic reports for measuring various areas of productivity.
- Perform administrative duties to support the division and VDOT offices around the state, including processing invoices, responding to procurement inquiries, and reconciling vendor issues.
- Work closely with the finance section to bridge the gap for tracking payments in process to tie them to the division s expenditures and overall budget.
- Collaborate with agency stakeholders, vendors, and finance/procurement staff to support the acquisition and payment of IT goods and services.
