Job Description: Pay Range: $17.82hr - $21.82hrThe Instrument Assembly Technician is responsible for building, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting instruments and sub-assemblies within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role supports multiple product lines, ensures compliance with quality and safety standards, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining accurate production documentation.Responsibilities:Build, integrate, and understand full assembly processes for instruments in the production area.Assemble multiple product lines, including integration of sub-assemblies into finished instruments.Record and maintain device history documentation, including serial numbers and tools used.Perform basic component and module testing for instruments and sub-assemblies.Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements.Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards.Train and support associates on mechanical assembly and basic testing activities.Execute basic test instructions, analyze results, and determine pass or fail outcomes.Perform routine to moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities.Complete production activities in compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality requirements.Interface with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Purchasing teams as needed.Perform standard material handling for raw materials and sub-assemblies.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment through housekeeping activities.Follow established procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.Comply with all safety, quality, and housekeeping policies and procedures.Work overtime as required to meet business needs.Perform other related duties as assigned.Requirement/Must Have:Ability to work in a regulated manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of mechanical tools including torque drivers, gauges, and related equipment.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement practices.Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive work.Experience:Manufacturing experience in assembly or production operations.Experience supporting multiple production orders and managing frequent assignment changes.Skills:Proven leadership ability with experience mentoring and supporting team members.Strong time management and organizational skills.Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and make independent decisions within defined processes.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Basic computer skills in a Windows-based environment.Qualification And Education:High School Diploma or GED with relevant manufacturing experience.Associate technical degree with relevant experience preferred.
