Job Description: Pay Range: $80hr - $85hrThe Lead Electrical Engineer must have experience with L band RF systems and be able to translate customer requirements into technical requirements, define solution architecture, establish requirement schemas, and link requirements to documentation. The role includes flowing down requirements to software, ASIC, and test teams, overseeing qualification test plan development, and collaborating with subject matter experts in GPS signal processing, anti-jam processing, hardware design, control software, and government qualification standards. The Lead Electrical Engineer is expected to understand all aspects of the proposed solution and work with cost account management, program management, and project management to ensure delivery within scope and schedule.Requirement/Must Have:Experience with L band RF systems.Comprehensive knowledge of low frequency and high frequency RF analog and digital circuit design.Experience with RF systems, ideally GPS receivers.Ability to develop circuit designs, requirements, design descriptions, verification plans, procedures, and customer documentation to meet schedules.Ability to support cross-functional teams, resolve conflicts, conduct root cause analysis, and contribute to architecture development.Ability to support algorithm development, analysis, implementation, system architecture, verification, and testing, with emphasis on military GPS electronics.Ability to contribute to design, build, integration, and test activities and verify that products meet all requirements.Ability to provide project management reports and support customer and senior leadership reviews.Ability to contribute to engineering technical baseline development as part of proposals.Ability to interface with leadership and cross-functional teams and provide technical updates.Ability to participate in or lead design reviews.Experience:Mastery-level knowledge in one or multiple technical areas with recognized expertise.Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree with a minimum of 7 years of related experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience capturing schematic designs and PCBA layouts using modern CAD tools such as Altium or Candidatetor Graphics.Minimum of 5 years of experience in receiver, antenna, or radio RF design.Experience with embedded hardware design.Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.Responsibilities:Support electrical engineering design across low and high frequency RF analog and digital circuits.Support product development lifecycle including design, analysis, integration, and test.Provide technical inputs for design documentation and verification activities.Perform problem resolution and ensure compliance with program and customer requirements.Support cross-team communication with software, systems, mechanical, and test teams.Participate in or lead technical design and development reviews.Provide status updates on engineering work products.Should Have:Familiarity with GPS module design and topology.Understanding of advanced high-speed analog design methodologies.Experience with MS Office, Simulink/Matlab, P-Spice, Client ADS or AWR, and Ansys HFSS.Experience with DO-254 design processes.Experience with product design team leadership and strong communication skills.Skills:Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Ability to work with leadership and provide technical review support.Ability to lead or participate in product development design reviews.Practical knowledge of project management.Qualification And Education:Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of experience, or a graduate degree with 7 years of experience, or 13 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
