Job Overview:
Pay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hr
Requirement/Must Have:
- 7 years of experience in data engineering.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with Power BI.
- Expertise in Databricks, Databricks workflows, PySpark, Python, and Databricks SQL.
- Experience with configuration-driven data pipelines.
- Knowledge of Databricks Genie conversational tool for AI-driven insights using no-code/low-code and code completion options using GitHub Copilot.
- Expertise in Data Modeling including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Experience with open table formats such as Delta Lake and Iceberg.
- Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Azure.
- Knowledge of data virtualization schemes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks workflows.
- Implement AI-driven insights using Databricks Genie and GitHub Copilot.
- Design and implement data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
- Manage data storage and processing using Delta Lake and Iceberg formats.
- Utilize Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric for data solutions.
- Create visualizations and reports using Power BI.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with data virtualization schemes.
- Familiarity with Iceberg open table formats.
