AI Engineer

Job Description:Pay Range: $45hr -$50hrRequirement/Must Have:5 years of software development experience using Python, C/C , Go, or Java.Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining large-scale Python applications.3 years of experience designing and deploying production-grade ML systems.Practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), including API integration, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.Experience building applications using RAG pipelines and tool-using agents.Strong understanding of commercial and open-source LLMs.Solid foundation in applied statistics, machine learning concepts, algorithms, and data structures.Experience:Experience deploying and monitoring ML models in production.Experience building data processing pipelines and evaluation frameworks.Experience with agent-based architectures and secure tool execution.Experience collaborating with engineering and operations teams to solve production challenges.Responsibilities:XXgn and implement agentic AI systems with structured reasoning, retrieval, and secure action execution.Build evaluation frameworks for foundational and open-source LLMs.Develop RAG pipelines, including data validation and feedback mechanisms.Integrate AI agents with production runtime systems for diagnostics, remediation, and reporting.Implement safety, governance, and compliance guardrails, including validation and fallback mechanisms.Optimize model performance, latency, and cost through prompt engineering and model routing.Monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve AI system reliability and effectiveness.Translate production challenges into AI-driven solutions with measurable business impact.Support continuous improvement through design reviews, experimentation, and best practices.Should Have:Cloud infrastructure experience, preferably with AWS.Experience with containerized and serverless architectures.Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools.Experience mentoring or guiding engineers on AI system design.Skills:Python and multi-language programming expertise.LLM integration and agent-based system design.Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).Production ML deployment and monitoring.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Qualification and Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
