Delivery Operations Lead

We provide the insight and clarity needed to guide clients to their best outcomes.Were hiring a Delivery Operations Lead (Documents & Data) to own and scale the operational engine behind our document-driven workflows as we grow ~4× over the next 12 months. This role is responsible for the end-to-end execution of document processing, categorization, extraction, and human-in-the-loop validation that powers accurate and timely delivery.This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who has built and scaled operational systems in fast-moving environments. You'll lead teams, define and improve processes, and partner closely with Engineering, Product, Tax, and Operations teams to ensure high-quality, scalable delivery.What You'll Do:Lead and manage a team of 5–10 operations professionals across document processing, categorization, extraction, and validation workflowsBuild, document, and continuously improve operational systems and SOPs to support rapid growth and increasing complexityScale teams and workflows from early-stage foundations (0 1) to repeatable, high-volume executionOwn operational performance across quality, throughput, timeliness, and cost; define and track KPIs to drive improvementPartner closely with Engineering, Product, Tax, and Operations teams to ensure timely, accurate, and scalable document and data deliveryOperationalize new tooling, automation, and models by designing effective human-in-the-loop workflows and feedback mechanismsCoach, develop, and motivate team members doing detailed, accuracy-critical workCreate a culture of clarity, accountability, and continuous improvementWhat Were Looking For:5–10 years of people management experience, including managing teams of 5–10 individualsProven ability to motivate, develop, and retain high-performing teams3 years operating in a startup environment, with comfort navigating ambiguity and changeStrong experience building and scaling operational systems and workflowsDemonstrated track record of defining, measuring, and improving operational KPIsData-driven decision-maker with strong operational judgmentComfortable working onsite in our Cupertino officeYou'll Love This Job If:You enjoy fast-paced environments and bring a driver mindset to change and executionYou are relentlessly unsatisfied with the status quo and have a track record of improving systems and processesYou like owning messy, ambiguous problems and turning them into clear, repeatable operational workflowsYou care deeply about quality and accuracy, but also know how to balance speed and scaleYou enjoy leading teams doing detailed work and know how to create clarity, motivation, and accountabilityIn California, this role is estimated to pay between 110,000 and 170,000 per year
