Job Summary
Cyclone Land Development is seeking experienced pipelayers to join our construction team. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience installing and maintaining underground utility systems, including storm drainage, sanitary sewer, and waterline utilities. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Install storm, sewer, and waterline utility systems.
- Read and interpret construction plans, grades, and specifications.
- Assist with trench preparation, pipe alignment, and pipe installation.
- Ensure proper bedding, backfilling, and compaction around utility lines.
- Work safely around excavation equipment and within trenching operations.
- Perform daily inspections of tools and equipment.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements.
- Collaborate with crew members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Skills
- Underground utility installation experience.
- Ability to read construction drawings and utility plans.
- Knowledge of storm drainage, sewer, and water distribution systems.
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience using hand and power tools commonly used in utility construction.
Qualifications
- Experience with storm, sewer, and waterline utilities.
- Previous pipelaying or underground utility construction experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Must be able to pass E-Verify employment verification requirements.
