Job Overview
Volcom is opening soon at International Marketplace!! Join our dynamic Volcom retail team as a full-time or part-time Retail Apparel Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused mindset will drive memorable shopping experiences. In this role, you will assist customers in finding the perfect Volcom board-riding clothing or accessory, and ensure the sales floor is inviting and well-organized. Your proactive approach will help foster a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and builds lasting relationships with our valued customers. Training will be provided in a variety of essential customer service and sales skills, including generating sales, visual merchandising, pricing and signage, point-of-sale (POS) cash register operations, and loss prevention.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their apparel needs and preferences.
- Assist customers with product selection, and styling advice to enhance their shopping experience.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain visual merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the sales floor is inviting and tidy.
Key Skills:
- Strong communication abilities and passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a retail environment or customer service is a plus but not required.
Scheduling Requirements:
- Dependability and punctuality are essential for this position.
- Must be able to work weekend and holidays to meet business needs.
