Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and mission-driven Community Outreach Manager to oversee and grow our community-focused initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of our programs - from scholarships and mentorship to conferences and partnerships - ensuring each aligns with our mission to advance cybersecurity education and workforce development.
Responsibilities:
· Provide detailed reports for all non-profit programs
· Assess existing programs and recommend enhancements or new iteratives based on community needs
· Apply for and manage applicable grants
· Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for programs
· Manage yearly budget for all non-profit efforts
· Ensure all programs align with the nonprofit’s mission and long-term goals.
· Work with volunteers to run all programs
· TAB Cyber Foundation (Scholarship Program)
o Manage application cycles
o Work with grading committee to determine winners
o Distribute awards
o Outreach – donations and applications
o Plan and execute fundraising events with Program Manager
o Host and manage board meetings
· YOUTH.SEC.CON. (Youth conference hosted at CYBR.SEC.CON.)
o Work with YSC committee and Program Manager to plan main conference event

o Maintain relationships with individual donors, provide updates, thank-yous, and annual impact reports
o Build and manage relationships with schools, universities, community orgs, local government, and industry partners
o Recruit and coordinate volunteers to support events, mentorship, and outreach efforts
Qualifications:
· Based in Houston, TX with ability to travel.
· Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, Business, Education, Communications, or a related field; master’s degree a plus.
· 3–5 years of experience managing nonprofit programs, community initiatives, or comparable projects.
· Demonstrated success in budget management, grant writing, fundraising, and sponsorship development.
· Experience in event planning and program evaluation, preferably in an education, workforce development, or cybersecurity-related field.
· Strong communication and relationship-building skills with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners.
· Familiarity with nonprofit compliance requirements (IRS, reporting, grant tracking).
· Knowledge of (or passion for) cybersecurity, education, or workforce development strongly preferred.
· Equivalent combination of education and practical experience will be considered.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
