🚨 Hiring: Materials & Processes Engineer – Aerospace
📍 Location: Savannah, GA
🕐 Schedule: 1st Shift | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced Materials & Processes Engineer to support engineering and manufacturing activities within an aerospace environment.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Support planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects.
- Provide technical solutions to complex materials and manufacturing problems.
- Support aircraft development and production activities.
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering teams, and external suppliers.
- Generate and communicate technical requirements.
- Support Manufacturing Liaison and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.
- Review proposed designs and engineering workflows.
- Develop and support technical test plans and results reports.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with Structures, Mechanical, Electrical, Powerplant, and Environmental Control engineering teams.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 years of experience in a specific technical engineering discipline OR 10 years of broad engineering experience.
- Strong Materials & Processes Engineering experience.
- Aerospace/aircraft manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting manufacturing/production engineering activities.
- Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Must be legally qualified to work on an ITAR project.
