Position Summary
The VP of Advisor Development is a strategic leader responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs that elevate advisor performance across all levels. This role will lead the development of both foundational and advanced training curricula, mentor and motivate Diamond Leaders, and drive continuous improvement through data-informed insights. The Director will play a critical role in shaping the advisor experience and ensuring alignment with organizational standards and goals.
Key Responsibilities
Training Design & Delivery
Design comprehensive training programs for both basic and advanced advisor development.
Deliver engaging and effective training sessions, simplifying complex concepts for broad understanding.
Ensure training aligns with business goals and advisor success metrics.
Leadership & Accountability
Hold Diamond Leaders accountable to performance standards through 1:1 facilitation and coaching.
Conduct client case review/prep sessions with advisors to help them better meet and exceed client needs
Mentor Diamond Leaders to foster growth, leadership, and consistency across teams.
Motivate Diamond Leaders and their teams to achieve excellence.
Performance Insights & Communication
Leverage performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Communicate actionable insights to Diamond Leaders and teams to drive performance.
Collaborate with analysts to ensure data is translated into meaningful strategies.
Qualifications
Significant and successful experience as a financial advisor (i.e., 15 years as a successful advisor)
Proven experience in training design, delivery, and leadership development.
Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Experience mentoring and motivating high-performing teams.
Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
Strategic thinker with a passion for advisor success and development.
Familiarity with performance management and enablement tools.
