Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Senior to join our Indianapolis office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working directly with clients, mentoring staff, and contributing to a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

-Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
-Conduct tax research and resolve complex tax issues
-Assist with tax planning and consulting projects
-Communicate directly with clients regarding tax matters and deadlines
-Supervise and mentor junior staff members
-Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
-Stay current on tax laws and regulatory changes

Qualifications

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
-CPA license or CPA-track preferred
-3 years of recent public accounting tax experience
-Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
-Experience with tax preparation and accounting software
-Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
-Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
