Role OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Sales Representative with proven experience in carpet sales to government agencies or commercial real estate clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities, build trust, and close deals in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting government contracts and commercial property managers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers, procurement officers, and facility managers.
- Present flooring solutions that meet compliance, durability, and aesthetic requirements.
- Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and manage contracts from initiation to close.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth installation and client satisfaction.
- Stay informed on industry trends, government procurement processes, and competitor offerings.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in carpet or flooring sales, specifically to government or commercial real estate sectors.
- Strong understanding of government bidding processes and compliance requirements.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
