Position Overview
The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth within a designated geographical area. This role focuses on promoting and selling HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling systems, pumps, and building automation systems, while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target new sales opportunities in the assigned region
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers
- Prepare and submit sales proposals and contracts
- Collaborate with the technical team to ensure customer specifications are met
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify potential threats and opportunities
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the sales process
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within engineering, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Proven track record in selling services
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, air handling units (AHUs), and Building Management Systems
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with control systems and building automation systems
- Skilled in troubleshooting various communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, TCP/IP, and MSTP
- Proficient in interpreting wiring diagrams and well-versed in IP network fundamentals
- Preferred experience in BAS programming, commissioning, and system start-ups
- Prior experience delivering training and development sessions for customers
- Ability to provide technical support, guidance, and coaching to end users and internal teams
