Mid-Level Associate: 4G/5G Patent Litigation

Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Compensation: $235,000 - $365,000 (Top-Market Scale)

The Opportunity

A premier, nationally recognized practice is seeking a Mid-Level Associate to join its expanding Electrical and Computer Technology group. This is a high-stakes, technically-driven role focused on the intersection of wireless innovation and complex patent litigation.

You will join a team with a deep pipeline of matters involving the world's most sophisticated technology companies and standard-essential patent (SEP) portfolios.

Core Responsibilities

• Litigation & PTAB: Lead and support high-value patent litigation and IPR proceedings.

• Standards-Based Advocacy: Apply technical expertise in 4G/5G protocols to develop winning legal strategies and claim constructions.

• Technical Translation: Work directly with global inventors to bridge the gap between complex engineering breakthroughs and robust legal positions.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3-5 years of dedicated patent litigation experience (including at least 2 years of solid, hands-on trial/litigation work).

• Technical Domain: Required industry standards experience in 4G/5G or wireless telecommunications.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.

• Credentials: USPTO registration is preferred; prior patent prosecution experience is a significant plus.
