Maintenance Senior Rotating Equipment Specialist

Title: Maintenance Senior Rotating Equipment Specialist - Chemical Manufacturing 
Location: Wharton, TX (77435)
Salary: $24-$30/HR DOE Overtime Benefits

Shift Hours: 7:30AM-4:30PM 

What You Will Be Doing

Exhibit advanced mechanical knowledge of all rotating equipment inside the facility.
Execute PM (Preventive Maintenance) as outlined by the PM Program.
With the Maintenance PM and MOC Specialist, populate the required PM for existing equipment and newinstallations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot rotating equipment.
Actively train and coach other maintenance personnel to strengthen departmental rotating equipmentknowledge.
Effectively and efficiently repair plant equipment as required.
Perform cost savings analysis periodically for parts and equipment.
Ensure assigned Work Orders are processed completely in a timely manner.
Coordinate contractors as necessary.
Ensure PSM (Process Safety Management) compliance when performing activities for the plant.
Participate in the MOC (Management of Change) program as necessary.
Participate in PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) as necessary.
Proactively identify potential mechanical/electrical failures and rectify issues.
Create POs (Purchase Orders) for required maintenance supplies.
Receive maintenance materials into SAP.
Maintain relations with suppliers.
Maintain advanced knowledge of environmental and safety rules.
Maintain spare parts inventory for rotating equipment inside the plant.
Adhere to Safety standards and PPE requirements.
Participate in Incident Investigations as necessary.
Provide daily maintenance department support.
Perform duties as outlined by the ERP (Emergency Response Plan).
Notify the Maintenance Supervisor of any abnormalities found while performing job functions.
Additional duties as assigned.

What You Need for this Position

Working knowledge of MOC and PSM
Advanced rotating equipment knowledge
Basic electrical knowledge
Advanced tool usage
Basic chemistry and chemical property knowledge
Basic physics knowledge
Working knowledge of Environmental and Regulatory Laws pertaining to the manufacturing (chemical) industry.
