Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Structural Project Engineer to oversee and manage structural engineering projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both steel and concrete design and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Develop and review structural design calculations and drawings using ADAPT, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of projects involving steel and concrete materials.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure project success.
- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and resolve any structural issues that arise during construction.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and provide technical support as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on project management.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as MathCAD and design tools like ADAPT, Revit, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of structural materials, including steel and concrete.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
