Sr HVAC Service Technician

Position Overview

The Sr HVAC Service Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong technical background with a focus on complex HVAC and control systems, including various components and technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including water pumps, VFDs, and chillers.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC controls, actuators, valves, and other components.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions for HVAC-related problems.
• Provide excellent customer service and support, addressing client concerns and educating them on system functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance or upgrades.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certifications in HVAC preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service and repair, with a focus on advanced systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, including DDC and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with various HVAC technologies, including Johnson, Siemens, and SWUD systems.
• Ability to work with semi-hermetic systems and understand dehumidification processes.
• Familiarity with electrical and circuit troubleshooting, as well as intake and exhaust fan systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
