Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to ensure the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and repairing various machinery within our facility, particularly in a food production environment adhering to GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues with boilers, chillers, mixers, and conveyors.
- Ensure compliance with GMP standards and safety regulations.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs performed.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures and equipment in compliance with GMP standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
