We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install fire sprinkler systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance on existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform testing of fire sprinklers and backflow prevention devices.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues with fire sprinkler systems as they arise.
- Coordinate with project managers and general contractors on job sites to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, service, and repairs performed on fire sprinkler systems.
- Stay updated on NFPA standards and regulations related to fire protection and sprinkler systems.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- NICET certification in Fire Protection is required
- Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or similar role.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems and NFPA codes and standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
