Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will play a critical role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate cost estimates and assisting in the bidding process for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial construction and a keen understanding of project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects including labor, materials, and overhead.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing.
• Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals for projects.
• Monitor cost trends and variations during the construction phase and provide recommendations for cost control.
• Evaluate and report on the latest construction methods, materials, and technologies relevant to estimating.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an estimator in commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and cost management.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
