Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Estimator for our Commercial Electrical division. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for electrical projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in our proposals. This role will involve collaboration with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and deliver precise cost analyses.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project plans and specifications to develop accurate estimates for electrical work.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including labor, materials, and equipment for commercial electrical projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to identify project requirements and constraints.
- Utilize estimation software such as ConEST and Surecount to streamline the estimating process.
- Assess subcontractor quotes and perform cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing.
- Participate in project bid meetings and provide insights on estimate validity and accuracy.
- Maintain and update a database of costs and pricing for future reference and adjustments.
- Proven experience as an Estimator in the electrical field, preferably in commercial and industrial projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in estimation software tools such as ConEST and Surecount.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications in electrical estimation or related fields are a plus.

Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
