Key Responsibilities
- Review project drawings and specifications to understand project requirements
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects in industrial and commercial settings
- Analyze labor, material, and overhead costs to develop comprehensive bid proposals
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments to gather necessary project information
- Conduct take-offs to quantify materials and labor needed for projects
- Prepare and submit bids on time, ensuring compliance with client requirements
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project costs
- Assist in procurement strategies for materials and subcontractors as needed
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the industrial and federal sectors
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Experience with take offs and bids for multi-family and commercial construction
- Familiarity with construction estimating software and data center projects is a plus
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects
- Salary $90K - $140K DOE
